Help if your moulded part is too tight.

Help With Removing The Part

Tilting is usually more effective than just pulling.

To make the piece easier to attach and remove

There are 2 main options for this.

Option 1 - Use A lubricant - Easiest ✅

I find even keyswitch lube (for keyboards) works great!

Option 2 - Heating the part - Best ✅

Heating the part allows the plastic expand.

Step 1 - using a hair dryer; heat the part in 10-20 second bursts until warm to the touch.

Step 2 - While the part is warm; quickly attach to the required part (e.g. head, torso etc.) to test the fitment.

Step 3 - if the tightness is to your liking then remove the part and allow to cool - check the fitment once more when its cooled.

Step 4 - If fitment is okay - then you're all done! Otherwise just repeat Step 1-3 until all is good!
